You're Already Clairvoyant - Here's How to Recognize and Develop Your Gift

Ever wondered what it actually looks like when someone says they're clairvoyant or can "see" with their third eye? Today I'm pulling back the curtain to show you exactly how clairvoyance shows up for me - and how you can start recognizing it in yourself.
Here's the truth: You're clairvoyant. You already are. It's just a matter of honing that gift.
What Clairvoyance Really Looks Like
When most people think of clairvoyance, they imagine dramatic scenes - full-blown visions or spirits appearing right in front of their eyes. And yes, some people do experience that level of clear seeing. But for most of us? It's much more subtle.
Clairvoyance is your ability to see in your mind's eye something that's being dropped in divinely by God, your higher self, or your spirit guides. It's our job to decipher those messages.
Sometimes it shows up as:
- A glimpse of something in your peripheral vision that disappears when you look directly
- Images that pop into your imagination during quiet moments
- Pictures that flash through your mind when you're asking for guidance
- Visual information that comes through during meditation or relaxed states
The biggest misconception? Most clairvoyance happens in your imagination. And that's exactly where people get stuck.
"But I Can't Visualize!"
I hear this all the time, and I completely get it. For the longest time - up until just a few years ago - I was terrible at visualizing and conceptualizing things. So let me share something that might surprise you.
Try this right now: Close your eyes (if it's safe to do so) and picture a red bird. Don't just see the bird floating in white space - look around it. Is the bird indoors or outdoors? Is it with other birds? What is it perched on? What's the background filling in around that red bird?
See? You just did it. That space in your imagination, in your mind's eye - that's where clairvoyant information pops in most of the time.
How I Know It's Real (Not Just My Imagination)
When I'm doing readings, energy transmissions, or healings, I tap into that same imaginative space. Here's what convinced me it's real: as I'm describing what I'm seeing, the other person is already feeling those sensations before I even say the words.
After sessions, when I ask what they felt, they'll say things like "Right before you said that, I was already feeling exactly what you described." That's how I learned to trust the information coming through - it's not just me making stuff up.
This was definitely a muscle I had to strengthen through practice. And if you want to develop this skill, here's exactly how to do it.
3 Ways to Develop Your Clairvoyance
1. Practice Visualization Through Guided Meditations
Start with short, gentle visualization meditations - 5 to 10 minutes max. You don't want to commit to longer sessions that feel taxing on your mind.
Here's the key: use the same meditation several times. When you anticipate the words, your mind gets used to going into that visualization zone instead of trying to follow a brand new story each time.
I actually have a 5-minute protection visualization on my YouTube channel that's perfect for this. It's gentle, short, and whether you use it to start or end your day, it'll help raise your vibration too.
2. Ask for the Information
This might sound obvious, but you need to actually set the intention that this is something you want to develop. You're essentially requesting from your spirit guides, God, or your higher self that you wish to receive information in the form of pictures.
If you don't ask, you don't get.
When you ask a question and want guidance, give yourself space to receive it visually. Close your eyes, acknowledge that the answer will come as a picture, ask for it to be clear and obvious, then surrender and trust.
Here's a practical example: I've gotten into the habit of using this for everyday things like finding lost items. When I can't find my phone (which happens a lot - just ask my kids!), I'll ask "Where's my phone?" Then I close my eyes, keep my mind blank for a few seconds, and let a picture come into my mind. I'll see exactly where I left it - maybe the bathroom upstairs or some random counter. I go there, find it exactly where the picture showed, and always say thank you.
It might look a little cuckoo to observers, but who cares? You get the answer you need.
3. Allow Yourself to Be in a Relaxed State
If you're not giving yourself space to receive those pictures, it's going to be really hard to pick them up when you're busy thinking about work, kids, deadlines, and to-dos.
Create space through:
- Leisurely walks or walking the dog
- Time in nature or gentle hikes
- Getting a massage or acupuncture
- Meditating (sometimes pictures drop in even when I'm trying to keep my mind blank)
Trust the Process (And Silence Your Ego)
Some people have that clairvoyant switch turned on full blast - they can see things they don't even want to see. But that's a handful of people. Most of us have to become aware of our gift, practice using it, and learn to trust the information coming through.
The most fun way to build that trust? Practice with someone else. Ask a friend or relative if you can do a reading for them. Getting confirmation from somebody else about what you're seeing is the best way to trust your information and silence that ego voice that says "You're wrong, you're making it up."
You Already Have This Gift
Remember: you're clairvoyant. You just need to hone the gift and practice that muscle.
The key is recognizing that those images in your imagination aren't "just" your imagination - they're often divine downloads waiting to be acknowledged and trusted.
